Five (5) Things a Woman Should Address When Applying Make-up

Every day I see beautiful women walking around with too much make-up! Remember make-up is to perfect the problems and enhance our most attractive features. You know you are wearing too much make-up when people don’t recognize you when you are not wearing any. The five main areas that should be addressed are (1)Dark circles under the eyes (2)Uneven skin tones (3)Dark spots / blemishes (4)Thin eyelashes (5)Thin eyebrows. I will address problems 1-3 in this post and 4-5 in next week’s post.
Dark circles, dark spots and blemishes can be handled by using a good foundation and concealer. A concealer should generally be one shade lighter than your foundation. Here are some good tips to remember: **Always apply your foundation before the concealer, you will use less concealer and make sure you apply foundation to your neck as well. Nothing looks worst than having your face a different shade from your neck**. Your foundation can usually fade dark spots, blemishes and uneven skin tones. But if they are still visible apply a little concealer to them and blend well.
In my next blog post I will address the problem of thin eyelashes and brows. If you have any make-up tips of your own to address these problems, please post them.
